The EIRX AirComfort25 is an LED UV-C disinfection fixture designed for use in residential HVAC systems. The LED light is rated for 15,000 hours and fan-linked operation means it only runs when needed, extending real-world lifespan well beyond traditional UVC lamps, with instant-on performance and no degradation from frequent cycling.

The AirComfort25 is engineered to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria, and other microorganisms on evaporator coils and throughout the HVAC system. Continuous UV-C treatment also helps minimize musty odors, including the common “dirty sock” smell, while minimizing biological buildup in the drain pan and condensate line that can contribute to clogs.

The AirComfort25 is designed to treat any residential ducted HVAC system with no maintenance for up to 15,000 hours of treatment life. The system can easily be installed, using either self-tapping screws or the magnets included, above or below the evaporator coil. The powerful LED light should be installed in a location where it is fully shining on the evaporator coil to provide complete treatment.

WARNING!

● Do not install or service if not certified Electrician or HVAC installer.

● Disconnect power to the Air Handling Unit (AHU / RTU) before servicing.

● Do not make any changes to the wiring or electrical components during installation.

● Do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

● Do not look directly at the light source.

● You must wear UVC protective eyeglasses when installing, servicing, or handling any UVC light.

● Do not expose your skin directly under the light source.

● You must wear a long sleeve shirt and latex or work gloves when installing, servicing, or handling any UVC light. Make sure your skin is not directly exposed to the UVC light.

● Do not remove the warning label that is attached on the AirComfort UVC-LED light fixture.

● Please attach the extra WARNING labels provided with the fixtures on all access doors and hatches to the AirComfort UVC-LED light fixture.

● All access doors and hatches to the AirComfort UVC LED light fixture must be locked.

● Always keep the products containing UV LEDs out of the reach of children and other untrained persons.

TERMS CONDITIONS:

● If you do not follow proper UVC light handling protocols as indicated above, EIRX, LLC, its owners, employees, agents, or resellers (henceforth referred to as “EIRX”) will not be responsible and cannot be held liable for any damage caused to you by the AirComfort UVC LED light radiation.

● By installing AirComfort UVC-LED Air Duct Light, I/we agree on the precautions I/we must take to protect myself/others when handling the UVC LED light and shall follow all the protocols and wear the UVC protective eyeglasses. I/we shall not expose any of my/our skin to the UVC light. I/we understand that it is my/our responsibility to protect myself/ourselves and my/our employees from direct exposure to the UVC light. It is also my/our responsibility to train my/our employees on the UVC light safety protocols. If I/we do not follow the UVC light safety protocols and my/our employees or I/we am injured due to my/our negligence, I/we will hold EIRX harmless and waive and forfeit all our rights for any claim or damages.

INPUT POWER:

You may use an airflow switch to automatically turn the AirComfort UVC-LED fixture when the fan comes on and off when the fan turns off.

       OR

You may use the fan relay to automatically turn the AirComfort UVC-LED fixture when the fan comes on and off when the fan turns off.
